Prague, May 3, 2017 – Mitas, part of the Trelleborg Group, supports driving safety training for farmers as a partner of the ADAC Driving Safety Center in Thuringia, Germany. Training that take place in Nohra, Germany, was offered by ADAC and DLG; a German Agricultural Society, well-established organizer of tests, events and exhibitions. Mitas equips training tractors with three tyre lines: SFT, HC 70 and AC 65, guaranteeing excellent results in terms of safety and performance. At the test field, Mitas also organizes training sessions for its customers.

Olaf Sandeck, Sales Manager for Mitas in Germany, says: "We began the cooperation with ADAC in mid-2016. Since then, we have welcomed well over 100 participants from our business partners to the driving safety training.


“Based on direct feedback from training participants, ranging from agricultural trainees to professionals with several decades of farming experience, we know all of them have learned some new skills. That is really satisfying to hear.”


Through its cooperation with the ADAC in Thuringia, Mitas likes to contribute specifically to the improvement of driving safety in agricultural. Such training is also particularly important in order to prevent possible issues caused by large and heavy agricultural machinery in regular traffic.
